I tried Khans Fish Bar. If you're looking for an old school Chippy you can't go wrong with Khans. No seating inside unfortunately so you can't sit down & enjoy your meal. I've tried the Chicken Donner Wrap, Dinner in Pitta & Chips & all 3 meals have been good. Chips are made fresh on site. I look forward to trying more Menu items!

A local legend. Lamb curry (hot) on chips is amazing. Say no more. More recently, tried their masala fish with naan and some fried seasoned potatoes which was really nice too.

Hands down the best or the best, anything you get from this place you enjoy from salad to chicken and chips to fish to kebabs to curry literally anything! The chicken donner and kebab is always cut fresh not like other shops who store it into a pot, the lamb curry is always cooked fresh! 5*

I’ve know about the famous Khans Fish Bar Lamb Balti and chips for quite some time but hadn’t tried it myself until today. I ordered the medium size Lamb Balti and chips which was £7 and along with a can of coke for £1 the total was £8. I throughly enjoyed it and it had plenty of flavour in the Balti with nice chunks of Lamb and the chips were proper thick cut and soft and fluffy on the inside. As I don’t live local to Balsall Heath I had to eat it across the road in the local park on the bench. I only wish they had space for a seating area but the front of the shop is too small. I’ll definitely be coming back again, next time I’ll try the Chicken Balti version.

I have been going to this restaurant for 4 years and i forget to review it… This Chicken Shop Is so good… i would definitely recommend the burger meal and chips because they out lots of sauce for me,,, they put a lot of sauce and i love what they are doing! Definitely recommend this shop 💯 Fun Fact : They have upgraded their whole shop now,, they made their walls blue and white… and i love it

Tried the famous lamb curry on chips and rice, and that's the large portion! Wow it was so tasty and filling, two could share, it's that massive! And served fresh and piping hot. Gets your mouth watering for more! Perfect lunch or late afternoon meal, fills you up for the whole day!
